On-campus living is part of the Pioneer journey—it’s where you’ll make friendships and memories that will last a lifetime. Staying up late, talking, studying and laughing. Binging on Netflix and video games. Challenging your roomies to board game tournaments. Discovering 50 ways to make ramen noodles. From traditional residence halls to suite-style units and apartments, Carroll has the perfect place for you to call home. All full-time students are required to live on campus until attaining senior status, 除了有限的例外.*

Carroll offers thirteen residence hall 选项 to suit a variety of needs and budgets, including undergraduate and graduate housing. Traditional halls typically serve as home to incoming and first-year students although they are available to all students as a living option. The exceptions are Steele and Swarthout Hall, which are only open to incoming students. Suite single halls are available for students who have achieved sophomore status or 更高的. 公寓 are available to students who are juniors and seniors. 研究生 housing is also available to graduate students in the Hartwell 公寓.

Most first-year students reside in our traditional residence halls. Traditional halls feature a mix of single and double rooms, common area 浴室s/kitchens and tiled floors. Standard furnishings include XL twin bed frame and mattress, 桌子上, 椅子, 梳妆台, 厨柜和书柜.

SUITE-STYLE大厅

Suite-style halls include air-conditioned units recommended for students who have achieved sophomore status or 更高的. Suite double units offer two double-occupancy rooms joined by one common 浴室. Suite single units offer four or five-bedroom suites sharing a 客厅 and two 浴室s. Standard furnishings include XL twin bed frame and mattress, 桌子上, 椅子, 梳妆台, 厨柜和书柜. No common space furnishings are provided. The halls also feature common area study lounges.

Carroll University defines 包容的住房 as an inclusive, voluntary housing option where students can share a designated suite with other students regardless of sex, gender identity or gender expression. It is not intended for romantic cohabitation. Students who choose this housing option will be expected to contribute positively to the community by respecting other members’ motivations for choosing this housing option and by abiding by all University regulations outlined in the 学生手册. Students can indicate interest in 包容的住房 as part of the on-campus housing application process.

生活学习社区

A Living Learning 社区 or LLC is a community of students living within a residential floor or residence hall who are connected through an academic major or field of study. The LLC is intended to enhance the overall living experience within a residence hall by providing students with a close-knit community that supports academic success.
